We will repair bookcases where possible, and for new bookcases that must be installed, we will stay true to the original style and feel of this beautiful historic building.
Memorial Gift - Main Floor Bookcase Dedication
Although The Joplin Carnegie Library will no longer serve as a public library, our dream is to restore the existing bookcases throughout the building and install new bookcases in rooms that do not have any - once again filling its walls with novels, stories, and the magic of books! Sadly all of the existing bookcases have been damaged due to vandalism or arson. But you can help! Honor a loved one with an "In Memory of" or "In Honor of" bookcase-saving dedication.
Plaques can read:
- In memory of [Name]
- In honor of [Name]
Your plaque will be mounted on one (1) bookcase located on the main floor.
100% refund will be given only in the 30 days post-purchase. Must email us to request refund. No refunds will be given after 30 days.
